Kenny Burrell – MIDNIGHT BLUE // New Lesson Series on YouTube!

Whilst it’s been really difficult not out gigging I’ve used the time to really focus on my teaching as it’s something I’m really passionate about and want to improve. Although I hate being in front of a camera (I’m super self-conscious so editing is hard 😂)!

After someone in the comments on my YouTube channel suggested I play this tune (which is one of the first Jazz tunes I lusted after playing as a teen) I thought I’d do a whole lesson series on it. This week is the first week!

This week we learn the head and take a dive into the dorian scale, blues and jazz language, Van Morrison?! Chord melody and we talk gear and more! Phew!
