HOW TO COMP & TRADING 8’s // All The Things You Are – Jim Hall // Lesson 4

Happy Friday everyone!

This is the 4th video in a series on Jim Hall’s ‘All The Things You Are’ from his album ‘Three’.

This week I give you some tips on comping underneath a bass solo and also how to go about trading 8’s with a drummer!

I’m teaching you how to play the whole tune and I’ve recorded a backing track with live instruments specifically for this.

I hope you enjoy!
